RTEL is a leading Greek Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) service provider and software developer. Its expertise covers solutions for the hospitality, business, health and public sectors. The company was established in 1993, the headquarters are based on the Island of Rhodes-Greece, and since 2008 there is a branch office in Athens. RTEL has acquired significant technological know-how and expertise through its regular participation in national and international projects as well as through its clients’ operations in a wide range of market sectors. There are 25 full-time employees, most of them with significant academic background and specializations in ICT.

RTEL designs, develops and supports ICT solutions using state-of-the art technology and there is expertise in advanced wired and wireless technology, unified communications, databases, e-business (B2C, B2B), e-collaboration, MIS, network management, security etc.
Since 1998, RTEL has become an official telecommunications company in Greece. It is certified with a DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certificate, it is a Preferred Partner of Hewlett Packard, a Microsoft Partner, and a Cisco Premier Partner. RTEL’s employees hold several Cisco certifications and specializations including CCNA, CCDA, CSE, wireless and unified communications specializations etc.

Our mission is to create a critical mass of customers throughout Greece, expand to other countries in the region, and become a market leader in its specializations. The company already has won contracts with clients located away from its headquarters, throughout Greece and abroad, that bring in 40% of the sales of 2008.
RTEL has a continuous presence in the Information and Communication Technologies research with its participation in national and international RTD projects, co-funded by the Greek General Secretariat of Research and Technology, the European Union under the FP6/FP7 and the AAL Programmes, and other organizations. Additionally, it has a strong experience in the management and technical supervisor of such projects.
